My Sexy Adventure
It's a My Sexy Saturday post and this week's theme is My Sexy Adventure. What better way to celebrate this theme than with a scene from Lost Relic, an interactive romance adventure! I hope you enjoy and make sure to hop over to the other blogs along the way.
Lost Relic snippet:
Keeping his hand hovering by her lower back, Alex said, “Still. I’ll walk you to your room.”
Dipping her head and flashing a smile, Lillian said, “Very well then.”
As they made their way across the deck Alex’s hand managed to make contact again, offering support. His warm hand pressed against her back as he walked her down the breezeway was a startling intimate connection. Nimble fingers slowly teased the fabric of her blouse. Lillian never thought the simple caress of fingers through cloth could cause her to feel so raw.
Lillian was a bundle of tense nerves by the time they made it to her door. When she stepped inside she didn’t expect Alex to grab her hand and turn her to look back at him. “I would like something besides the money, Miss Wiskton.”
Swallowing the lump that suddenly formed in her throat, she fluttered her lashes and asked, “What’s that, Mr. Martin?”
He took a step closer, one foot entering her room, and leaned in closer. “A goodnight kiss,” he whispered just before crushing her lips with a hard kiss. She was defenseless against the sudden heat that rushed through her and when he brushed his tongue against her mouth she let her lips part.
Alex stepped forward, forcing her further into the room, and wrapped an arm around her waist. As he drug her up against him she heard the door slam. Lillian reached up and hooked one arm over his shoulder, letting her fingers lace through his soft hair.
That's it for this week.
Peace and Love!

Full Moon Releases (Oct. 2016)
A day or two late, but we're still here with some great October reads for everyone!
Wild by Eve Langlais, Kate Douglas & A.C. Arthur
In Catch a Tiger by the Tail by Eve Langlais, Broderick has a job to do—audit the books of a gentleman’s club. Sounds simple, except his company wants him to find dirt linking to the mob, his secret mob employer wants someone to pin the blame on, and the bar manager at the heart of the controversy doesn’t want him—even though she’s his mate.
In Wild Passions by Kate Douglas, six women—friends closer than sisters—head off to an exclusive mountain resort for a week-long bachelorette getaway, where most of the women just wants to know if there are any good men left in the world. There are, and they’re the men of Feral Passions, a unique resort located on a private wolf preserve, owned and run by a pack of sexy werewolves who use it as their own personal hunting ground for mates.
In Her Perfect Mates by A.C. Arthur, Malec Zenta was part of a loving lycan family until his twin brother’s suicide took a piece of his soul. Channing Verdi never knew his parents, but that was fine because at the age of sixteen on the night of the full moon, he realized his purpose. The only pleasure these two betas have managed to find in their life was in the bed with the women they shared. Now, a human woman has entered their lives...a woman who sets their primal instincts on fire, a woman they can’t help but stake their claim on...and give her the ultimate pleasure of being with two shifters at once.

NaNoWriMo Prep (2016)
Every year I set a goal to participate in NaNoWriMo. Whether it's one of the camps or the November event, I push myself to set writing goals and write alongside other authors. The first year I did NaNoWriMo I wrote over 40k words for my first published piece, Witch Hunt. The following years saw large chunks of Fox Hunt and Fire Hunt completed. Last year I completed my 30k goal with Lost Relic and this past summer it was published.
To me that means that when I push myself to complete a writing goal I'm more likely to finish it and get it out to readers. That's some awesome motivation to join in and get to writing.
This past summer and spring I wasn't unable to join Camp NaNoWriMo because of an illness in the family. So next month is my last chance to take part this year and I'm determined to do it. I've tucked away a story idea just for this year. It stayed untouched for months waiting for it's chance and when I pulled it out last week I was happy to find it just as fresh in my mind as the moment I scribbled it down on a receipt.
The Prep
Some years I fly by the seat of my pants and wait until it all starts to get the story underway. Not this year. I can't set a lower word count goal in November like I can during the camps. So 50k is the goal and that's a lofty challenge. At least for me.
Character sheets, plot and other bits of the story need a little developing. This has already started. Scenes have already started coming to mind and I'm trying my best to keep these all contained to a notebook. (Love my computer and phone, but I also love pen and paper)
Another part of the prep work is advancing my current WIP to a point where I can pick it back up after November. Because of family illness this piece hasn't gotten the attention it normally world so I've got a good bit of catch up to do.
I'm also going to need to prep some frozen meals for my family. They've gotta eat too! Don't get me wrong. I'll still cook for the hubby and pumpkin, but I know there will be evenings where pulling away from the story just won't happen. On those nights I plan on having something for them and the hubby is awesome enough to be okay with that.
And that's the prep at this point. Development, advancing WIP and looking for at home frozen meal recipes. If you happen to know a good recipe that freezes well let me know in the comments!

My Sexy Soul Mate
This week's My Sexy Saturday theme is My Sexy Soul Mate and I couldn't think of a better couple than Rei and Aidan from Witch Hunt. Enjoy and make sure to visit the other blogs!
Witch Hunt excerpt:
Aidan watched her try to tug her arm away from him. She was
putting all of her strength into it, but
he was determined to hold her until
she understood. Looking down into her deep eyes, Aidan wondered if she might
understand what he was about to tell her, after all. Sucking in a long breath,
he asked, “You know about mates?”
Rei let out a groan of frustration as she tugged a last time
at her arm. “I know what my grandfather told me. Lifelong commitment. That’s
about it.”
“Rei, Tessa isn’t my mate. She wants to be, but never can
be. I can have only one mate. Only one woman can ever carry my child,” he
explained. As the last few words let his mouth, he felt Rei’s arm go a little
lax in his grip. “Tessa and I are not compatible. We never have been, but she
will not accept that. Her true mate died years ago, without giving her a cub.
The pack feels for her, but she wants a cub so badly she keeps looking.” Aidan
knew the story sounded odd to people outside of pack and hoped that Rei could hear
the truth of his words.
He could see her eyes narrow a little as she thought about
what he was saying. Fury still danced across her fierce eyes, but Aidan knew
reason would start to form at some point. Finally, running her tongue over her
teeth, Rei asked, “And just how does someone know they’ve found their mate?”
“A wolf knows his mate by smell, by heat, and by passion.
You are my mate, Rei, and I can’t let you leave,” Aidan explained. Searching
her face, he saw shock and confusion. All the fury was still there, but it had
been pushed back. Aidan had a feeling it was only waiting in reserve for later.
Rei went very still beside him. He knew she had little
knowledge about wolves, let alone their mated couples, and understood the
confusion she was struggling against. After what seemed like several long
minutes like this, Rei’s rolled her eyes, and she let out a low, defeated sigh.
“Aidan, I’m not a wolf. I can’t be your mate,” she said, letting her arm go
completely limp.
“Rei, you are my mate. I cannot explain why, but I know it
is possible. Other wolves have found their mates in witches like you,” Aidan
said softly, loosening his grip on Rei’s arm. He tilted his head to the couch
and walked her over to sit down. Once Rei was settled down on the couch,
thinking over what being a mate entailed, Aidan said, “You don’t have to think
about it now. Once the danger has passed, we can talk about it.” To himself, he
thought, I’ll tell her about the link later.
That's it for this week. Peace and love dear readers.
