It's
time for another My Sexy Saturday post and this week's theme is My Sexy
Boyfriend. I don't really have a lot of sexy boyfriend action in my
paranormal romances. They're more mates than anything, but my latest
project, Lost Relic might hold a tidbit or two.
Here's a short bit from Lost Relic, a WIP. This is a story about a young woman, Lillian, looking for adventure and she finds it deep in the Amazon Jungle. She has agreed to accompany Daniel, an archaeologist, into the rain forest in search of the lost tomb of the Golden King. Enjoy!

She watched him intently and
somewhere in the back of her mind began to wonder if his lips were as soft as
they looked. “Are you suggesting what I think you’re suggesting?” Lillian asked
and the steady thump of her heart began speeding up.
A cocky grin appeared as he sat the glass down. Daniel resumed trailing his finger over the rim of the glass and said, “Very much so, but more too. I want to know you, Lillian. You’re so much of the woman that I’ve been looking for. You love history, you’re smart, independent and one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever laid eyes on. I’d very much like to know you both emotionally and physically.”

Lillian’s eyes followed the circular motion of his finger and felt a tingle start to spread low in her belly. “Daniel, I’m not some innocent maid who would make a nice bride. I’m not even any good as a mistress. I wouldn’t stand for the later anyway,” she warned, tearing her eyes away from the glass and meeting his stare.
“I don’t really give a damn about how innocent you are. You’re still beautiful and smart,” he said and then suddenly leaned forward. His warm hand reached out and covered her knee. Even through her skirts she could feel the heat and strength radiating from him. “Give me a chance, Lillian. Just tonight. Just this trip and then if you want to return to New York and that desk I won’t stop you.”
She stared at him. Daniel's clear blue eyes never wavered from hers as he waited for her answer. A lock of his blond hair was threatening to fall over his eye and Lillian reached out to brush it back up in place. “Okay.”
Daniel leaned in closer, sliding
his hand down from her knee to the edge of the chair. Before she knew it he’d
moved his free hand to grip the other edge of the chair and had pulled her
forward, chair and all. Lillian grabbed his lower arms, trying to stay steady
during the sudden ride. Her knees ended up bumping the front of his chair and
trapped between his legs
Lillian was still recovering from the shock of the quick movement when he lifted his hand, tilted her chin up and kissed her. His soft lips crushed her, but slowly his tongue persuaded her lips to part. She felt his thumb brush over her chin as the kiss deepened and his other hand slipped up her side and pulled her closer.
