Lost Relic snippet:

Nipping at her bottom lip before blazing a trail of kisses down her jawline, Alex gently tugged at the back of her blouse.

“Are you sure this is wise?” she asked when she felt his hand slip under the edge of her blouse. 

He paused, lips still trained over the junction of her neck and shoulder. Lillian could almost feel his eyes roll up to look at her when he asked, “You’ve done this before, Lillian, haven’t you?”

Letting out a shaky breath, Lillian tightened her fingers in his shirt and whispered, “Perhaps once or twice.” 

His lips dropped a quick kiss on her skin and he said, “We’re both adults here and I won’t lie, I really want you spread out on that bed.” The deep, hungry tone in his voice was enough to make her quiver. Unexpected excitement caused her heart to race and she realized that she didn’t really care if it was proper or not.
