A Sexy Paranormal Love

mysexysaturday.blogspot.com

Its a My Sexy Saturday! This week's theme is A Sexy Paranormal Love. The little snippet I'm giving all the lovely readers today is from a WIP. It's short but sweet. Enjoy!

Snippet:

Court leaned in close, brushing the tip of his nose across Karlee’s ear. “You’d be surprised by what can happen in a night,” he whispered, his breath sending shivers down her back. Karlee pulled back just enough to look him in the eye. The smirk on his face promised an unspoken desire. “Wanna try?”

“Court, isn’t there a rule or law or something about relations between watchers and their charges?” she asked a bit breathless.

“Not a one. In fact it’s seen as a sign of good fortune when a dreamweaver shows interest in a clan member.”

That's it for this week. Remeber to hop over to the other great blogs for more reading!

Old Friends and New Faces

The last few years have kind of run away with me. Between my wonderful daughter starting school and my career becoming a jumbled mess, I lost track of a few old friends. Back in 2013 I published a short story, The Dealer. It was the beginning of an episodic series of shorts that dove into the supernatural world of West Lakes. I got a total of only four of these stories out before life happened.

For that I hate myself a little. Or maybe a lot, but it happens and I'm sorry to say that while these characters are still rambling on for me I've lost track of time and haven't been able to put pen to paper to tell their stories. That's going to change.

Along with the four already out there I have three more stories ready to be shared. Before I do that, however, I'm going to pull The Dealer, Earth Angel, The Raven's Tale and Ol' Hound and do a bit of polishing. I hope to have The Dealer back out on the Ides of March. So be on the look out!

West Lakes, home of angels, and a town where the unimaginable can be lurking just around the corner. In this hidden town a battle is waged against mankind and those who came before us. Within this town lives one who watches over man, and protects them from ruthless powers that be. This one will meet their end much the same way they lived and in their place another will rise.

The task at hand? The Dealer.

Dealing with the living, judging those who should die: these are the tasks of the Giver of Life and the Dealer of Death. Drawn out by the suffering the Dealer will rampage through the small town of West Lakes, searching for the innocent and damning the guilty, but when the lines of guilt blur can she really be fair?

These stories are written under Jessie White. They are not romance novels, but instead Supernatural / Speculative Fiction / Whatever pops up.

Paranormal Love Wednesdays

http://paranormallovewednesdays.blogspot.com/2016/02/paranormal-love-wednesday-blog-hop-feb.htmlIt's time for a Paranormal Love Wednesday post! This week I pulled four paragraphs from Fox Hunt. Dilly and Mike are having their "first date" style moment with a well deserved video game. These two werewolves can get a bit caught up in a platform scroller just as much as the next gamer. Enjoy!

Fox Hunt snippet:

Nudging his shoulder with her own, Dilly confidently said, “We’re gonna get it this time.” The level started over, and both Dilly and Mike were completely lost in it. Waving her hands about as she raced the game, Dilly didn’t even realize her shoulder was still pressed to Mike’s. When Dilly’s game character blew up into a large bubble after smacking a wall of thorns, Dilly let out an aggravated growl, dropped her controller into her lap, and turned to encourage the man sitting next to her. “Come on, Mike. You can get it.”

Cheering him on as he raced through the last part of the level, Dilly tensed up in anticipation. A rush of triumph filled her as the little character jumped at the crystal and smashed it. Throwing her hands up, Dilly screamed, “You did it!”

“Heck, yeah,” Mike said, dropping his controller. Before he could say anything else, Dilly found herself wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him. It was rushed, and Dilly quickly pulled back with a big smile on her face, which disappeared when she realized what she’d done. She’d been so happy about beating that stupid level, she’d made a move on Mike.

Mike, the strange male wolf who had wondered into town looking for his mate. Mike, the guy Dilly had tried to convince to leave her alone. Mike, the man who sat beside her with a big Cheshire cat grin on his face.

That's all you get this week. Hop over to Paranormal Love Wednesdays to check out other great posts and snippets.
